Don’t be fooled by the cute picture - pregnancy Don’t be fooled by the cute picture - pregnancy and childbirth can be dangerous and damaging. It took about a year of medical care and physical therapy for me to recover from Arlo’s birth. And keeping Hana and Jade alive required me to have surgery when I was 4.5 months pregnant, to deliver them early at 7 months pregnant, and for them to spend 6 weeks in intensive care. I wanted these 3 with my whole heart but wouldn’t wish my experiences on anyone, let alone an unwilling participant. Talk to the moms around you; traumas like mine are common but often glossed over.
Introducing Hana Hart and Jade Brielle! Our sweet Introducing Hana Hart and Jade Brielle! Our sweet baby girls are two weeks old and feisty, snuggly, and strong. We can’t wait for them to meet their big brother! We are so grateful to the many many people who helped bring them safely into the world and to our family and friends. We wouldn’t be here without you.
