Winter in North Carolina’s mountains is mighty cold, but there are a lot of fun and cozy things to do. The best activity is enjoying nature. The mountains are totally different than they are in the summer when the trees are lush and green. I hope everyone had wonderful holidays! The last night of Hanukkah is always my favorite because the menorah is so beautiful. As a kid, my two sisters and I would take turns lighting the menorah each night. Normal children fight to go first, but not me.
