We love Stella so much that we have given her many nicknames. The names flow naturally for her. They come just as easily as the songs I’ve created for her do… but let’s save those for another time. This post has enough material to embarrass us all for a while! Here’s a sampling:
- Stella girl
- Pups
- Stella Luna Lovegood
- Pupsicle
- Stella puppy/pup
- Spa girl (accompanying song)
- SG
- Puppy love
- Puppy friend
- Hey, That’s a Fox. (We don’t call her this, but plenty of other people do!)
Stella clearly has a personality big enough to inspire a whole collection of nicknames, and I love how naturally those names came from the bond between her and her owner. It’s similar to how the ninja turtles names feel tied to each turtle’s personality—Leonardo sounds fitting for the leader, while Michelangelo suits the playful one. Stella’s many playful nicknames show how a simple name can become more personal when you add a little creativity and meaning. That same idea works with a Name Decoration website, where you can take a favorite name or nickname and give it a distinctive look using a few readable Unicode characters or symbols. I like that the nicknames here feel natural rather than forced, which is also a good approach when creating a decorated name that still feels personal.
